The SFDR classification of Nordea India Fund will be changed

We strive to offer our customers sustainable, high-quality investment products and to do so we continuously develop our fund offering. As part of this process, we are amending the rules of Nordea India Fund.

Nordea India Fund is a feeder fund that, as a rule, invests all of its assets (at least 85%) in the master fund Nordea 1 – Indian Equity Fund. The master fund is an equity fund registered in Luxembourg and managed by Nordea Investment Funds S.A., which is part of the Nordea Group. The master fund invests mainly in the Indian market.

As a result of an amendment to the prospectus, Nordea 1 – Indian Equity Fund will promote environmental and social characteristics among others going forward. The rules of the feeder fund Nordea India will also be amended to align them with the master fund's characteristics.

After the amendments, Nordea India Fund will promote environmental and social characteristics as defined in Article 8 of the EU SFDR (Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation).

The amendments do not require any action from the unitholders. They will not affect the risk levels or fees for the fund.

The amendments will enter into force on 4 April 2024.
