The Nordea Nora Two Fund will be liquidated
Units of Nordea Nora Two Fund have been available for subscription in Nordea Mobile and Netbank through our digital investment adviser Nora.
We regret to inform you that we will have to liquidate the fund because its total assets have fallen below the 2-million euro minimum limit specified in the Finnish Act on Common Funds. The decrease in assets is due to a large redemption of fund units made by a major investor in December 2023.
The Board of Directors of Nordea Funds Ltd decided on 25 March 2024 to liquidate the fund. On this date, the fund was also closed for subscription, switch and redemption orders as from the cut-off time at 13:00.
The final NAV per unit will be calculated on 27 March 2024, after which a redemption amount corresponding to your fund units will be paid to your Nordea cash account within a few banking days.
You don’t need to do anything, as the fund will be liquidated and the payment will be made to you automatically. Please note that if you are subject to general tax liability in Finland, any capital gains you receive from the sale of your fund units in connection with the liquidation of the fund will be taxable. Any capital losses from the sale can be deducted in taxation. If you are liable to pay taxes outside of Finland, please contact your tax adviser to find out about your tax treatment.
If you have a monthly savings agreement linked to the fund, your agreement will be terminated but we hope that you are interested in continuing active monthly saving in our other funds.
