Notice to the unitholders of certain Nordea funds

We are continuously developing our fund selection with the aim of offering our customers sustainable, high-quality investment products. As part of this process, we are amending the rules of Nordea Japan Fund, Nordea North American Dividend Fund, Nordea Global Equity Allocation Fund, and Nordea Equity Opportunities Fund.

In the future, the funds will adhere to our fossil fuel policy, which excludes fossil fuel companies if they do not have a documented transition strategy that aligns with the Paris agreement. The funds will also exclude tobacco companies going forward.

As a result of the amendments, the funds will promote environmental and social characteristics as per Article 8 of the EU Sustainable Finance Disclosure Regulation (SFDR). The funds’ risk levels and fees will remain unaffected.

The amendments will enter into force on 15 December 2022.
